-
- Hmm, the last released version I know of was part of a package called
- system-0.95a.tar.Z that I released a week or so after releasing the
- 0.95a root image. :)
-
- fsck.c is basically unchanged since then except for changing struct
- super_block to struct minix_super_block in a couple of places.
-
- I will package together the misc. sources I have soon and upload them
- to the archive sites. This will probably consist of:
-
- doshell fdformat fdisk frag fsck hexdump
- kill last makehole mkfs mkswap more
- setfdprm setroot setserial setterm strings sync
- update
-
- If you need one of these right away, let me know.

-
- The mount-0.97 available on tsx-11 (pub/linux/sources/sbin?) with the
- patch in the same directory is nearly bug-free (read: I haven't seen
- any) and there really is no such thing as special proc support - mount
- should support all filesystems without needing to know anything
- special about them.

-
- There is a file in the mcc-interim stuff that contains the various
- text files that are part of the mcc release. Among those is
- /etc/magic, which might have the Linux codes you'd need.

-
- It was just posted today, and it's also in pub/OS/Linux/PEOPLE/Linus
- on nic.funet.fi.
-

-
- groff-1.06 reportedly compiles out of the box except for one problem
- with a macro defined as BLOCK_SIZE which you should change to
- something else because of name conflicts (XBLOCK_SIZE or something
- would be a good alternative).

-
- If you find ancient binaries floating around on the archives, it would
- be a nice idea to let the archive site admins know. For tsx-11, you
- can send mail to ftp-linux@tsx-11.mit.edu and it will go through the
- proper channels.
