  12. Someone posted not too long ago saying he had compiled MIT scheme
  13. under linux. I traded email with this guy, got no information where to
  14. get scheme, and lost his address. The article has since expired at my
  15. sites. Has anyone seen MIT scheme lying around anywhere obvious? I
  16. checked the usual ftp sites.

  18. I decided, heck, I'd compile it myself, and after wrestling with a few
  19. hours' worth of BSD terminal control and pseudo-tty bogosity got the
  20. microcode to compile, but not work. I'm much more interested in using
  21. Scheme (specifically, in using Scheme to do homework in a nice
  22. comfortable place like a coffeehouse, on my notebook, instead of in a
  23. nasty workstation cluster) than porting it.

  25. If someone doesn't have bandwidth to post the entire (huge) MIT Scheme
  26. binary set, hey, no problem, just send patches. I can compile it and
  27. put it up for ftp.
