  26. "Advanced Techniques  in Animation, Rendering, and  Visualization"   conference
  27. is the first  scientific computer graphics meeting in Turkey.  It will be  held
  28. in Ankara,  on the premises of Bilkent University,  the only private university
  29. in Turkey.  Hotel and various  other  accommodations are  available  on campus.
  30. Short trips to historical sites,  such as the cave churches of  Cappadocia  and
  31. the tomb of King Midas, will be organized. University offers assorted computing
  32. facilities as well as lecture halls equipped with audiovisual equipment.

  34. High quality research papers are sought primarily related,  but not limited, to
  35. the following areas:

  37.    - Modeling for animation and rendering
  38.    - Parallel algorithms and architectures
  39.    - New trends in radiosity and ray tracing
  40.    - Scientific visualization
  41.    - Current trends in animation
  42.  
  43. Conference  sessions  will  include  a  number  of  invited  talks  by  eminent
  44. researchers  in the field of computer graphics.  Proceedings will be  published
  45. by an international publisher.

  86. Three  copies of a full paper,  limited to 12 pages,  should be sent  by  mail
  87. or fax (no e-mail submissions, please) to arrive no later than March 15, 1993.
  88. The  top of the  first  page  should  include  the title,  authors' names  and
  89. affiliations, an abstract, and at least five keywords. On a separate page, the
  90. name of the person to contact  should also be given  with  telephone  and  fax
  91. numbers,  e-mail, and postal addresses.  The attendees may bring along various
  92. audiovisual  material  including video cassettes in  PAL/SECAM/NTSC  for Beta,
  93. VHS, or Hi8 formats as well as slides. Please submit your papers to:
