  16. None of the Roland SoundCanvas series (including the SCC-1) support user-
  17. defined sound samples. What you get for your money is 6 MEG of ROM with
  18. 300 professionally-sampled sounds. Since I paid < $250 for my SCC-1, I'm
  19. not complaining. You want wavetables & samples, get a Gravis. You're going
  20. to have wavetable editors -- commercial, PD and Shareware -- comin' out
  21. of the woodwork over the next year.
