  37. I dont follow, from what I learned in Image Processing class, and just talking
  38. with the professor, decompression should take no longer than compression (He
  39. thought that decompression should be fractionally faster).

  41. Is this Hardware?  Dr Sherlock said that at 512x512x256 (gray) that a sun-4
  42. was doing an image in ~ 20 seconds (compression, decompression, rms error
  43. check).
