  14. Film is 24 fps, yes. But PAL and SECAM are 25 fps.

  16. By the way, didn't those old silent movies use to be filmed at 18 fps? That
  17. stereotypical "speeded-up" look only happened when they were played back on
  18. newer equipment which could only run at 24 fps.
