  12. ABBATE Video Consultants markets HyperCard software and hardware
  13. cables for the Macintosh that allow you to control over 100
  14. consumer, prosumer, and professional VCRs.  No other hardware
  15. boxes are required.  The accuracy is limited by the accuracy of
  16. the VCR.  VCRs which use time code are supported also, and can
  17. give you frame-accurate editing.

  19. I edit with the following:
  20. Panasonic AG1960 S-VHS, Sony EV-C3 8mm, Sony SLV-R5 S-VHS,
  21. Sony CCD-801 Hi8 camcorder.
  22. I make action videos that don't require frame-accurate editing, but I
  23. do like to get about .5 second accuracy, and I do.
