- I'm starting a DVI applicaion for use in a kiosk. Using OS/2 is
- sort of required, unless doing it in Windows will have superior
- results. Can anyone compare AVC and MEDIAscript? Are there
- other tools available that I should know about? I'm mainly
- interested in ease and robustness of development, and the
- relative speed of the completed apps.
-
- I have a copy of AVC and the MEDIAscript Desktop Edition (I can
- get the Professional Edition, if necessary), so I am familiar
- with the basic features of each. However, I haven't done any
- development yet, so the long term snags are what I'm looking
- for.
-
- My app. will have an animation in attract mode, which allows the
- user to touch parts of the moving animation. The rest is pretty
- standard - buttons and video in a window. One other constraint:
- I can't wait past the end of November for products that aren't
- shipping.
-
- Thanks for any help,
-
