- Valentino (sparc 1+) is a dataless client of our server Andersen (Sun
- 4/490). We're running SunOS 4.1.3 and Sun's sendmail. The clients are
- configued to send all outgoing mail to the server andersen. One of our
- users is complaining that some of his mail isn't getting out. The
- following messages are showing up in /var/log/syslog:
-
- Nov 17 13:57:59 valentino sendmail[1279]: NOQUEUE: SYSERR: net hang reading
- from andersen: Connection timed out
- Nov 17 13:57:59 valentino sendmail[1279]: NOQUEUE: SYSERR: net hang reading
- from andersen: Connection timed out
-
- Can anyone shed some light on what that error message means? Is it
- something to worry about?
-
- Thanks.
