  11. I have just started to experince a problem with messages being sent to
  12. MAILER-DAEMON everytime the queue is processed (30 min).  The usual
  13. problems are no route, connection refused, etc.  In the past this mail
  14. quietly rested in the queue for 3 days (the option T value) then mail was
  15. sent to MAILER-DAEMON.  Now it seems that everytime the queue is processed
  16. a message is sent.  And, to add insult to injury, MAILER-DAEMON is an alias
  17. to root which gets expanded so after awhile the "To: " lines start looking
  18. like this:

  20.         To: addressee
  21.         To: MAILER-DAEMON
  22.         To: addressee
  23.         To: root
  24.         To: addressee
  25.         To: root
  26.         To: addressee
  27.         To: root
  28.         ...
