- This is true, and this part appeared to work fine last week. :-)

- However, if you are converting from an MMDF based system, and have never
- used sendmail before, then trying to figure out what the hell the docs are
- talking about is a task in itself. I still have not figured out how to
- use the transports and directors and routers files correctly yet. What would
- be really wonderful is a set of docs that had my situation included:
-
- hostmaster of a domain (linet.org) that has 8 other systems polling for
- mail in that domain, and doing it over HDB uucp. No tcp/ip or smtp.
-
- ARGH! :-)
-
- If anyone has any help files or suggestions on how to get all this stuff
- working together (my problem currently is getting smail to read the pathalias
- database...), I would deeply appreciate it.
-
- I set the Followup-to: to poster, as I am probably a great minority in this
- and most do not want to hear how to fix my problems. If there is sufficient
- requests for a follow-up on progress, by all means speak up and I will post
- or send reports or answers (addendums to man pages???) to those who request
- it.
-
- Thanx!
