- I have the following problem:
-
- At our local computer pool mail will work properly, when it is given an
- address of the form <user@local-host.local-net.net.country>. If however
- the <local-host> is omitted, the mail will bounce with <host unknown>.
-
- Is there any way I can fix that (without being supervisor)? If not, is
- there a way to get around the problem by simply forcing the local mail
- demon to send the mail to <somewhere> and let <somewhere> be bothered
- with looking up addresses and delovering the mail correctly?
-
- I'd appreciate answers, as it is a pain in the neck to be unable to
- reply to people mailing.
