  21. The only thing I am aware of that happens only with emacs and not
  22. vi, is when a message is not terminated with a newline, some sendmails
  23. get very upset.  vi cannot do that but emacs can.

  25. Some one has submitted a patch to elm to prevent this, but it is on
  26. hold pending a checkout of the ramifications of applying it to the
  27. other features of things. (ramifications both in and out of Elm)
