  14. Having a tree-saving-desire-day, I was looking for tools to convert lots
  15. of PostScript to few pages. I know there are tools about to put several
  16. PS pages on to one. What I want on top of that is a tool which will only
  17. print out the odd or the even pages, so that I can print double-sided
  18. (one lot of pages may have to be in reverse, I haven't really figured that
  19. out yet).

  21. What I have found out, is that the 'showpage' commands may be hidden in
  22. some nasty subroutines, and knowing nothing about PostScript I gave up at
  23. that point. Perl seems to be an obvious tool for coping with this problem...
  24.  
  25. So does anybody out there have a tool like that? Just think of all those
  26. lovely trees it would save!
