- I concur that it's highly, highly unlikely that aub is directly responsible
- for the problem. However, knowing Ultrix quite well, I would change the
- order of likely causes to the following...

- 1) Prior file-system corruption
- 2) A bug in Ultrix
- 3) 1 & 2, both
- 4) Another bug in Ultrix
- 5) A bug in the Ultrix compiler your Perl was compiled with
- 6) Another bug in Ultrix
- ...
- 99) A bug in your port of Perl
