  19. You hypocrite!  The above statement says that mathematicians have been
  20. overloading the vertical bar with vastly DIFFERENT meanings FOR YEARS. 
  21. Furthermore, you've been complaining for years that most of our languages,
  22. especially many assembly languages, don't allow overloading of operators,
  23. even though you've wanted that feature.

  25. However, when a computer language designer overloads the meaning of
  26. vertical bar with "or", you complain:
