  14. I have been asked by my chairman to make a proposal for an junior
  15. undergraduate course covering C++.  I am looking for suggestions
  16. on textbooks, compilers, environments, OOP, etc.  I would like to
  17. hear both positive and negative experiences.  The prerequisites
  18. currently considered are a course in C and a course in data
  19. structures.
