  34. I don't believe that information from DIALOG is free
  35. anywhere--on the Internet or not.  DIALOG Information
  36. Services is a commercial enterprise headquartered in Palo
  37. Alto, CA.  This company acts as a sort of information broker
  38. and provides access to some 380+ databases--all for a fee.
  39. It is a pay-as-you-search operation.  It is arranged this
  40. way mostly because DIALOG doesn't 'own' most of the
  41. information it provides access to--the publishers with which
  42. DIALOG contracts 'own' it and therefore get a piece of the
  43. price that DIALOG charges the user.

  45. All this i not to say that tsources
  46. besides DIALOG for the information you need that are
  47. avaree on the Internet.  I would be interested
  48. to hear if you find about any.
