Wavefront Technologies sells a 3D data analysis and presentation
software package called the Data Visualizer.  It has extensive
interactive 3D capabilities, but very little function in the
plotting area.

In its next release a communication link has been built between
the Data Visualizer and gnuplot.  With it, all sorts of permutations
of the 3D data can be extracted and exported for plotting.

Wavefront will include this communication link as part of its
standard software release.  It is given in source code form such
that the user will have a working example in the event that another
plotting package is preferred.

In reviewing the copywrite information on gnuplot it is stated that
the code can be used freely if it is neither altered nor sold.
Wavefront is interested in including gunplot with its standard
offering.  There will be no additional charge for it, and doing
so would make it available to those who do not have Internet access
to acquire it themselves.
