- Sorry, I know that a very similar problem was just subbject of
- discussion in this group, but I still don't get it.

- I know how to maake contour plots or how to find out which contour
- lines are actually plotted. What I can't figure out is how to
- control these parameters. Is there any way to tell gnuplot to plot

- - either contour lines from z1 to z2 in steps of z3
- - or the following list of contours: z1,z2,z3...

- In other words, can I manipulate maximum and minimum z-values
- (not just print them out). Note that there is no way for me
- to do this in the data file, since the data are very irregular.
