  25. Gnuplot with x11 (like any X application) needs to know the name of your
  26. display, either from the DISPLAY environment variable or the -display
  27. gnuplot command line option. For example, something like

  29.       gnuplot -display spso.gsfc.nasa.gov:0
  30.  
  31. If you've never used the DISPLAY environment variable or -display command 
  32. option for any X application, ask an X user at your site for help.
