- Hello all you graphics experts,
-
- I have a simple question that I'm sure all of you will be able to help
- me with.
-
- If I have a 35mm colour negative and I capture this image into say a PC
- with a frame grabber then what is involved in converting this to a
- positive image ? e.g. I have grabbed a 24 plane colour neg. (i.e. no
- colour map) is it as simple as doing some simple maths to create the
- positive ?
-
- e.g. 0xffffff - negative_pixel_value = positive_pixel_value
-
- any comments greatly appreciated
-
- Thanks...Brian
