- I'm trying to create stereograms of a model in Alias, v3.1.1. They
- will be viewed with one of those plastic viewers, where you drop in
- two slides, one for each eye.
-
- One of the tutorials in the SDL programming manual claims that there
- is a way to render the two stereo views automatically. Simply set the
- variable stereo to TRUE and set stereo_eye_offset to a value
- corresponding to the offset between the two eyes.
-
- I've rendered a bunch of test images, but they don't look like they'll
- work in the viewer (I haven't developed them yet so I haven't tested
- them). It seems like the eyes are offset along some weird angle, not
- along the local X-axis of the camera.
-
- Has anyone else tried to produce stereograms in Alias? Or in any
- other modeling system? Are there any stand-alone utilties for
- producing stereograms?
-
-
- Cross-eyed,
