- Silicon Graphics' GL has been ported (under license) to Suns by at
- least 2 companies:

- DuPont Pixel Systems
- 800-542-1484

- Either of them should be able to help you with your stated goal.
-
- OpenGL is a library similar to "the" GL. It is also a licensed product
- of Silicon Graphics. As far as I know, you cannot yet purchase it from
- anyone but SGI, and what you could get right now is a software-only version.
- Things are not really set up for end-users yet. If I remember correctly,
- SGI plans to have OpenGL for its machines in first half 1993. I do
- not know planned release dates for other platforms.
-
- In any case, you would have to rewrite some of your current code,
- probably, to use OpenGL.
-
- Disclaimer: I work for Sun, haven't yet 8^) used OpenGL, haven't
- gotten my OpenGL books, etc. I'm sure the SGI guys will correct any
- misinformation.
