- Hi,
- I'm going to use a scanner to scan through a set of Chinese characters.
- I want to use either Omnipage or applescan to save each character as an
- image file which could be converted into a binary file. I noticed that
- with using Omnipage or some scanner software can save character as an image
- file in either PCX or tiff(compressed or uncompressed.) I wonder how can I
- know what format the PCX or tiff file is and whether, and how it can be
- converted into a binary file. Thanks lot for any help on this.
