- Your guess is approiate. A good MultiScan monitor will fix that problem IF
- the screen is not displayable ei; horizontal lines distorting the image. It
- might be possible to tweak your horizontal frequency control within your
- present monitor, BUT I DON"T RECOMMEND IT. Let a qualified technician help.

- PICLAB is a shareware program available in most ftp sites msdos/graphics
- directories. It does an excellent 16 / 24 bit to 256 colour conversion.
- Other conversion programs are readily available as well. Most 256 colour
- display programs make a truecolor image look BAD because they don't perform
- a very good internal colour matching scheme, CSHOW and VPIC included.
- However, CSHOW8.5 does an excellent 24-bit , 15-bit and 16-bit display in
- VESA mode.
- BTW: YOU can use VPIC to load the image then save as GIF and then view it.
- I believe this process will to a better conversion than when VPIC loads
- and display's.

- I am interested in any further developments which may occur regarding the
- TRUEVISION BRAVADO. Is this a BRAVADO 8 or 16 and how is the quality of
- captured images and what is the highest truecolor capture it does.
- thanks,
