- I finally got around to generating that patch database of a teapot.
- It is pretty big (but it has surface normals!! :-) ~250k compressed,
- half a meg uncompressed.
-
- Check at cco.caltech.edu
- /pub/nyet/graphics
-
- I also uploaded a tpool.v file... just a modified pool.v that plops
- the teapot on the pool table.
-
- They may not work together (I haven't tested it yet) since I don't know
- if I generated the .vo file the same way when I made the tpool.v file.
-
- I would have uploaded Jim Blinn's original bezier curve def of the tpot,
- but I accidentally nuked it off one of my unix accounts (I do have it
- on my pc somewhere). Let me know if there is interest in this original
- version (slightly hacked to make the top fit and add in a base).
-
- Also there is a polygon database of a vw beetle. The format is kinda
- obscure, but if you have some of Blinn's old graphics pipeline writings
- (does the blobby man ring a bell?) you might understand it better.
