- Can anyone recommend a good share/cheapware typeface with the following
- features:
-
- 1. old-style figures (i.e. non-lining numbers)
- 2. long s character
- 3. slightly irregular shapes a la type produced by colonial printers
- 4. a decent complement of ligatures
-
- I produce a fair amount of publicity for a 122-year-old vocal group here at
- the University of Virginia, and occasionally create poster designs which
- cry out for the above features.
-
- I've tried Goudy Hundred, but it lacks (2) (unless I'm missing
- something).
-
- Any suggestions? I'll take shareware or low-cost (hopefully) commercial,
- preferably for Mac; Type 1 or TrueType.
-
- Thanks in advance,
- tim jarrett
