- Many times the documentation and helpful hints for DOS has drawings embedded
- that contain IBM (ANSII?) graphics characters. These look fine on the screen
- but when printed out, they change to vertical bars, plus signs, etc. that
- relay the concept, but look terrible. Is there a font that can print the
- "normal" ascii characters as well as the graphics characters on a postscript
- printer? Since most original writers use a mono-spaced font like
- Courier, a portional spaced one will not retain the correct alignment.
- I can find fonts with line drawing characters, but the lower entries are more
- graphics characters instead of the normal alphabet and punctuation.
- Cutting, pasting, and substituting character by character is a pain.
- BTW I'm working on a DOS PC, using PCPS to print txt files to a
- LaserWriter IIg. I also use Windows 3.1 and WinWord 2.0.
- Any help is appreciated. Thanks,
- -Ben
