  11. ok, i knew i should've been more precise.  thanks for the C-x 2 and
  12. C-x 5 replies, btw, but what i really meant was:  how can i have one
  13. emacs process open up windows on two different X displays?  needs to
  14. be one process (or have good inter-process communication) because the
  15. same buffer must be represented on both displays.

  17. the reason i ask is because the thought of using emacs as a "talk"
  18. vehicle sounds like it could be feasible if this two-display one-
  19. buffer feature is there.
