  12. I wonder if anyone has thought about making emacs auto-save in
  13. the background? I usually works with large buffers and I become
  14. irritated everytime emacs "hangs" when it auto-save. Especially
  15. when it auto-saves over NFS. I don't want to disable the auto-saving
  16. because I think it is a nice feature auto-saving if the machine crashes.

  18. But maybe there is some problems I haven't tought about...?
