- I would like our programmers to be able to modify the lisp files in
- ~/emacs/lisp and have emacs use those file. Unfortunately, our emacs
- (GNU) isn't even looking at those files when they are modified. We
- tried to change some of the c-mode behavior and it didn't even look at
- the file out there. I assume that this is because emacs has been
- compiled this way. Can someone tell me how I can get GNU emacs to load
- its config stuff from the lisp stuff in ~/emacs/lisp?

- PS. And yes, we did do a byte-compile on the files after we modified them.
