- I have read the DEMACS FAQ and it did not help me on this. I
- just started using 4dos instead of the regular command.com, and now
- when I try to run a shell command using M-! or M-x compile, I get the
- following message:
- "Searching for program: file not found, c:\4dos.com"
- My env variable comspec is set to (suprisingly enough)
- c:\4dos.com, but that wouldn't be a problem since it obviously knows
- what file to look for, it just can't find it!
-
- Any help you can give me is appreciated.
