  12. Old Dominion Universiy in Norfolk Virginia (12% minority, about
  13. 15,000 students, graduate level aand a few doctoral programs -
  14. mainly oceanography) has a computer-course requirement.
  15. However, there are no specific courses offered to fill this.
  16. Most of the students end up taking Comp Sci 101 which is an
  17. over-extended word processing course or the technology course
  18. required for the teaching program.  The education majors have
  19. to take a specific course which assumes that the student has
  20. done some word processing.  Hope this helps
