  17. I am new to the world of DSP.  I am looking for a layman's description
  18. of how to alter the frequency of sampled data without changing the
  19. duration of playback.

  21. I will be working with 16 bit 44.1 Khz mono samples.  One of the things
  22. I hope to do is to sample a musical instrument, sound, or noise, and
  23. scale it up or down and stored as patches for music synthesizers.
