  21. I generally get about 1024 char/sec using Zmodem at 9600 baud, with 
  22. hardware flow control.  You might want to try disabling MNP5 before 
  23. transferring compressed files...

  25. If the remote modem uses XON flow control, the situation changes somewhat.
  26. In order to keep the data from interfering with the flow control, you
  27. need to use "escaped" Zmodem (sz -e); throughput then drops to about
  28. 750 chars/sec.
