- I generally get about 1024 char/sec using Zmodem at 9600 baud, with
- hardware flow control. You might want to try disabling MNP5 before
- transferring compressed files...

- If the remote modem uses XON flow control, the situation changes somewhat.
- In order to keep the data from interfering with the flow control, you
- need to use "escaped" Zmodem (sz -e); throughput then drops to about
- 750 chars/sec.
