  14. Does anyone have more information about this? My ZyXEL (5.02 ROM) sometimes
  15. disconnects from a USR v.32bis for no apparent reason (data, not fax,
  16. connection). Is this the compatibility problem addressed by the new ROM?

  18. On another matter, can anyone recommend an easy and inexpensive way to
  19. get the new ROM. I realize that the code is free, but is it worth buying
  20. an eprom burner or should I just get a ready-made chip from someone
  21. else? In either case, can anyone recommend a stateside source. (I bought
  22. my modem from the Kandy Shack, which sells new ROMs for $25. Is this the
  23. best price available?)
