  34. Okay, so this *isn't* a problem with the modem, its a problem with the
  35. transfer protocols? I'm digging way back, but I thought Ymodem-G was
  36. specifically for use with a modem using MNP error correcting protocol. 
  37. Is your modem connecting using MNP or V42 error correction? The Gateway
  38. Telepath I just sent back would attempt a V42 connection first, *then*
  39. try the MNP connection, then fall back to no error correction (assuming
  40. it couldn't make the connection with V42 or MNP). Could somebody refresh
  41. my memory on Ymodem-G ? I'm pretty sure I remember it requiring hardware
  42. error correction, and I *thought* it specified MNP2-4...anybody have the
  43. facts?
