- I was also worried that the Eagle would be a substandard modem, like one
- of Prodigy's other promotions. But that is definitely not the case here
- -- the Eagle is a complete V.32bis/V.42/ fax, and I didn't have any problems
- with it when I left it powered on for three weeks straight. It worked just
- fine talking to my ZyXEL U1496E at home and a Codex V.32 at work, as well as
- the four or five fax machines I tried sending to.

- Prodigy's 9600 bps service uses straight V.32 only, that may be what you've
- been reading in the announcements.
