- I have had many problems connecting to the 3 Scout+ modems on this system.
-
- I've never gotten a 14400 connection to one of them.
- I always get either a 9600 or 12000 connect (The speed I get seems to be
- randomly determined)
- My modem is a ZyXEL 1496E with the latest ROMs. In the year I've had it I've
- never had problems connecting to any other brand of modem, even Supras
- with old ROMs.
-
- Often the Scout+ hangs up a few seconds after answering.
-
- And many times I find one (or two) of the Scout+ to be in a weird state where
- it connects at 4800 then sends out garbage. It then needs to be reset.
