  23. I have had many problems connecting to the 3 Scout+ modems on this system.

  25. I've never gotten a 14400 connection to one of them. 
  26. I always get either a 9600 or 12000 connect (The speed I get seems to be
  27. randomly determined)
  28. My modem is a ZyXEL 1496E with the latest ROMs. In the year I've had it I've
  29. never had problems connecting to any other brand of modem, even Supras
  30. with old ROMs.

  32. Often the Scout+ hangs up a few seconds after answering.

  34. And many times I find one (or two) of the Scout+ to be in a weird state where
  35. it connects at 4800 then sends out garbage. It then needs to be reset.
