  19. I'd belive Hayes isn't doing it right.  I've not had this same problem
  20. with mine but have you tried using the "%E2" command as explained in the
  21. manual addendum?  This may help you connect right.  The other thing you
  22. might wanna try is to talk to the 14.4 at 9600.  Sounds silly right?
  23. Well, this may (it's worked for me) cause both modems to latch at 9600
  24. and ignore higher possibilities.
