- I'd belive Hayes isn't doing it right. I've not had this same problem
- with mine but have you tried using the "%E2" command as explained in the
- manual addendum? This may help you connect right. The other thing you
- might wanna try is to talk to the 14.4 at 9600. Sounds silly right?
- Well, this may (it's worked for me) cause both modems to latch at 9600
- and ignore higher possibilities.
