  21. The Boca I ordered from PC Connection has similar problems. It can send
  22. fax to other FaxModem and FaxMachine; it can receive incoming fax from
  23. Fax machine and from another Boca FaxModem, but it failed to receive
  24. fax sent from ZyXEL 1496E and from Everex FaxModem. (In the latter two
  25. cases, the software shows receiving fax successfully, but what I can
  26. read is only a page of bar code. We have tried QL2FAX and WinFax at
  27. both ends and got the same results.) I called PC Connection's technical
  28. support and they told me that they didn't know the answer. But they
  29. gave me a long distance number (not 800 number) for the technical
  30. support from Boca Research. When I called Boca technical support,
  31. they put me on hold for 15 minutes and no one come to answer my
  32. question. Now I have sent it back to PC Connection and they promise
  33. to refund the full price of the FaxModem plus the postage for sending
  34. it back to them. I paid the $5 shipping and handling cost.
