  11. I see alot of people complaining about thier modems, but that only tells me 
  12. what NOT to buy.  Maybe a quick discussion of what modems people aren't 
  13. having problems with would help those of us looking to buy a new modem.

  15. Personally, I'm looking for a GOOD 14.4K FAX/MODEM for about $300.  I know I 
  16. won't get the BEST modem for $300, but maybe I can find the BEST $300 MODEM!

  18. So if you have had a GOOD experience with a reasonably priced modem, speak 
  19. out and help those of us looking to avoid the problems we're all reading 
  20. about in this group.
