- I think the majority of us don't give a damn, because we don't want to fall
- into the proprietary trap that everyone did once before by rushing out to
- get PEP modems. Now its clearer that v32bis has advantages by virtue of
- being a standard, and we're all waiting for v.fast to be finalised. No-one
- wants to be first on the block with another expensive toy that'll be a
- heap of junk that doesn't talk to anyone else in 2 years time.
