- Hi fellow netties:
- I have a rather large collection of 4gl, perform and ace programs
- on our system and am having a hard time organizing for easy access for
- our users. Does anyone know of a menu system (or whatever) that will
- do the following:
-
- 1. the ability to restrict a users view to only those selections
- that he/she has permission to use
- 2. supply a resonable size description field for each selection to
- describe what it does and when to use it
- 3. includes a field for the full path name of the executable and
- command line arguements
- 4. works on worthless, stupid, serial character based terminals
-
- The oranizational model I would like to see would give the ability
- to assign each program into one or more groups, then assign the users
- to one or more groups.
- Thanks in advance for any advice!
