- Not having had to come up from any lower than 2.12, I'm not sure, but one
- very sure way to delete files is to manually remove the entries from the
- REVMEDIA file of the volume and delete the associated DOS files from DOS.
-
- You can SETALIAS VOLUME_LOCATION SYSPROG REVMEDIA REVMEDIA to get REVMEDIA
- available for editing if you don't have a password on the SYSPROG account.
- Then Do a LISTVOL on the affected volume and jot down the DOS names of the
- problem files.
- Then do a DELETEROW REVMEDIA for the problem files.
- Then delete the DOS files from DOS with DEL.
-
- They will be then gone.
-
- Make a backup of your stuff before doing this in case you make errors.
