- Hi all. I just wanted to clue you in as to some of the fine software available
- at msdos.archive.umich.edu (uploaded by myself and my good friend, Raphael
- Pungin).
-
- A while ago, Raph wrote an excellent Tetris clone for Foxpro2. This was, to my
- knowledge, the first foxpro thing available via ftp. After he had uploaded it,
- I noticed that they had created a directory under /msdos/database called
- 'foxpro.'
-
- I said to myself, 'this little directory seems a lonely place, with only one
- file in it...'
-
- So I put some files in it, and now there's more...
- foxtris.txt
- foxtris.zip Raphael's most excellent Tetris clone. 100% Foxpro.
-
- message.zip My program to facilitate SENDing messages across a Novell
- Network (Source & Compiled forms)
- slider.zip My program to demonstrate how to implement a sliding control
- device. It is used, in this example, to control the mouse
- speed. (Source and Compiled forms)
- whoami.zip Based on message, this obtains your Novell Username. (Source
- and Compiled)
-
- also, still in the /msdos/UPLOADS directory:
-
- smartpop.zip A little thing I wrote that demonstrates an all-purpose routine
- for popping up a list of available database records according
- to whatever field you want. It will limit the records selected
- according to what has already been typed. You get the idea.
- Includes the Oatbran Scroller and a nifty little alert()
- routine. (Source and Compiled)
-
- Anyway, our addresses are in these files, so send us postcards or emails if you
- enjoy them!
-
- Coming soon:
- Box Magic! A screen which accepts a bunch of text, and however you like it,
- puts it in boxes, or cells of boxes. This is pretty useful for help screens,
- and anything else you want to look pretty. It has four box styles, including
- the mixed single/double help screen title boxes, three alignments, and custom
- cell configuration.
