- I wouldn't worry about this too much. ORACLE uses product release dates as
- a marketing tool: don't buy Brand x because we have a New Improved coming
- out that will run circles around it. As far as I am aware, ORACLE has never
- come close to meeting an ADVERTISED release date - tho it may be meeting
- internally-set deadlines, I don't know - and is usually very creative in
- the many reasons given (directly and via "rumor") why the release is "delayed"
