  21. I'm not competent to speak about the software needed to *manage* an
  22. archive site, but I do have a suggestion about how to get the bits to
  23. put onto your archive: CD-ROM.

  25. There are a number of publishers of freeware and shareware CD-ROMs.
  26. The prices are typically in the range of $25 - $50 per disc, and the
  27. producers generally have no problem with redistribution by archives.
  28. Compare these prices to the cost (and hassle) of FTPing the bits to
  29. Israel, and you may find the discs to be quite a bit cheaper.  (You
  30. may wish to bring over updated versions electronically; the CD-ROMs
  31. are generally updated 1-4 times/year.)
