  11. I've been looking for ages for what I believe is "Racter"...an AI
  12. program that supposedly composed fictional text (albeit somewhat
  13. disjunct and bizarre).  I read about it in Omni and I guess it wrote a
  14. book called "The Policeman's Beard Is Half Constructed".

  16. Is there anyone out there that knows about it?  Was it a fake?  Is
  17. "Policeman's..." available anywhere?  Is it possible to still get a copy
  18. of this program?

  20. Are there similar or better programs available?

  22. Is there someone out there with a copy of Racter (or like program) that
  23. could send me a copy of the output?
